Below are instructions and resources to help you reserve a conference room, lecture hall, or other meeting space at the David Geffen School of Medicine: 

 

HOW TO RESERVE A ROOM

To get started, click the Log-In link under the My Account tab above. Use your Mednet Active Directory (AD) credentials to access the system. If you do not have a Mednet account, please see below for information about accessing the system.

Once logged in, select one of the request forms listed under the Reservations tab. Once the request form has been filled out and submitted, the request will be reviewed by the room administrator.  You will receive a response within two business days.

 

HOW TO FIND AN AVAILABLE SPACE

Once you have entered the basic criteria for your request, including date, time and attendance, the system will show you a list of spaces which fit that criteria.

If a space that you would like to reserve is available, you may proceed with the request.  If there are no spaces available, or if you are not interested in reserving the available spaces, you will have the opportunity to adjust the date and time as needed to find an available space.

HOW TO BROWSE FOR SPACES

There are many different spaces available for reservations, ranging from small conference rooms to large lecture halls.  If you would like to see details about our various spaces, please click on the Browse For Space link under the Browse tab above.

All of our general use conference rooms and lecture halls are equipped to allow connection of a laptop to either a projector of a flat panel display for local presentation purposes.  Many rooms have additional capabilities as well. 

 EVENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

When submitting a General Room Request, additional equipment or AV Staffing may be requested under the 'AV Equipment' section of the form. 

If you would like a Video Conference or Web Conference setup for your event, please use the Video Conference or Web Conference request forms as appropriate.

Please note that there are fees associated with these requests, so a valid FAU must be included for processing.

WHO CAN USE THIS SYSTEM

David Geffen School of Medicine conference rooms, lecture halls and other spaces are reserved for the exclusive use of the faculty, staff and trainees in the School of Medicine and UCLA Health System. When scheduling permits, spaces may be made available for use by the Schools of Dentistry, Nursing and Public Health. Spaces may not be scheduled for or rented to other members of the general UCLA community, or to the general public.

 

HOW TO REQUEST A LOGIN

As noted, DGSOM spaces are only available to certain affiliated users and groups. If you are authorized to use DGSOM spaces, but you do not have a mednet account, you must request an account for the room reservation system by emailing the DOAVS Helpdesk.

Please note that accounts will only be created for authorized users. Requests for accounts will be processed within two business days.
